A Real Father is a Loving Father

As a father, we must be many things.  We are often leaders, cheerleaders, disciplinarians, attorneys, teachers and protectors. In all these roles our children are our focus.  If we are to be all these things to our children, we must be real , but we must also be loving.  1 Corinthians 13 is how a father should be to his children and not only his spouse.   You cannot be a REAL father without loving your children effectively.  If you apply the principles of 1 Corinthians 13 to your parenting, the benefits that God has for you and your children will be manifested for all to see. Ask yourself, am I loving my children the way God has intended?  Am I demonstrating the love that a REAL father should?  Love from a REAL father is: 1. A Real father is patient.
